A pusher is the part of the set players touch most, and the part that tells them whether the set is cheap. Two decisions carry most of that judgement: the material, and the edge.

This is the acrylic version. For solid wood in white or a Pantone colour, see the wooden pusher set.

Filmed at the sample bench in Dongguan.

Scallop or straight

EdgeWhat it doesTypical buyer
ScallopThe wavy top edge gives a thumb a place to sit when a player pushes the wall forward — and it is the look most American players associate with a proper setGift, hobby and American club sets
StraightA clean line, cheaper to finish, easier to print onTravel and entry-price sets, buyers who want a plain profile

Both are cut from the same sheet and priced per piece. Scallop takes longer to polish, which shows up as a small difference in the unit price rather than a different MOQ.

Acrylic bodies

The range we hold covers what buyers actually order:

  • Clear — the value option; shows the tile colour through the pusher.
  • Tortoise — the classic amber/brown mottle, and the reason this product exists.
  • Marble — grey-white veining; reads as stone at a metre.
  • Pearl — soft iridescence that shifts with the light.

Custom Pantone colours are quoted per run. Marble, pearl and glitter bodies are poured in small batches, so a reorder months later will not match exactly — keep a master sample and accept a tolerance, or commit to one large run.

Magnetic

Every pusher carries two or three 8 × 2 mm magnets, and the plate carries the matching set. The pull is deliberately strong — you feel it seat rather than having to line the two halves up.

That matters in four places:

  • Play. The pusher stays on its plate when a player pushes the wall forward; it does not creep or rock under the thumb.
  • Stacking. Four magnetised sets sit flat on each other without sliding, which is how they are packed.
  • Travel. The parts do not separate inside a case or a bag, so a set arrives in four pieces, not eight.
  • Assembly. No screws, no clips, nothing to lose — and nothing to work loose after a season of play.

The magnets are embedded, not glued on top, so the face stays flush.

Sets, racks and logos

Pushers ship four to a set, normally boxed with matching racks. The logo is applied one of two independent ways, and they are not interchangeable:

  • Laser engraving — a frosted mark cut into the body. No ink, so nothing to wear off; it reads as a tone-on-tone mark rather than a colour.
  • UV print — full colour, printed on the surface. Right when the logo has several colours or fine artwork.

Engraving for a discreet mark that must outlast the set; UV print when the logo is part of the design.

From the workshop

Buyers ask one question before anything else: do you actually make this, or do you resell it? These are our bench photos, not stock images — bodies stacked after polishing, colour checked against the chips, and finished sets waiting on the pallet.

Tortoise acrylic pushers stacked at the production bench, colour chips laid across them Tortoise pusher and rack frames in the finishing area Clear acrylic pushers stacked in bulk with colour reference chips Finished pushers bubble-wrapped and stacked on pallets before cartoning
Each body is checked against the colour chip before it is packed; sets are bubble-wrapped per bundle so edges arrive unmarked.

How pricing works

Price per set moves with four choices: length (19, 20 or 21 inch), thickness (5 or 6 mm), body (clear is the entry price; tortoise, marble and pearl cost more because they are poured in batches), and edge — scallop takes longer to polish than straight.

The logo method adds a small step either way. Volume is the bigger lever: 100 sets and 1,000 sets quote differently per set, so send the quantity you actually plan to run.

Getting a quote

Send the length, the body colour, the edge style and the logo artwork. Minimum is 100 sets (four pushers to a set) and lead time runs about a month.

Pricing and sample cost are quoted directly — email or WhatsApp us and we will send the price list for the size and body you want. If the set also needs a mat or a bag, quote them together: that is the point of buying the range in one place.
