A mat is the one part of a set that does not fold. It rolls, and then it needs somewhere to live — this is that bag: a long canvas tube, 880 × 100 mm, that takes a rolled mat up to 34 inch.
Sized to the rolled mat, not the flat one
880 × 100 mm. The length clears a 34 in mat with enough slack to draw the cord closed; the 100 mm girth is what a mat from 2 mm stock rolls to.
If you sell 800 mm mats, ask for the shorter length — a bag that is too long lets the mat slide to one end and the bag hangs awkwardly on a shelf.
10 oz canvas
The weight is the point. 10 oz canvas is heavy enough to carry a mat without stretching at the seams or going thin where it rubs, and it does not tear at the drawstring channel the way a lighter cloth does.
- Tear resistant — the weave holds under a mat’s weight and a rolled edge.
- Wear resistant — survives being dragged in and out of a car boot.
- Load bearing — the seams are the weak point in a canvas bag, so they are stitched full length rather than spot-tacked.
Every seam is sewn through, not glued or fused. That is what stops a bag splitting after a season of use.
90+ colours
Canvas takes dye evenly, so the colour holds across the bag rather than pooling at the seams. We keep 90+ colours in stock; ask for the swatch images and we will send the range.
For a bag that matches a mat print, send the artwork — we will match the canvas to the dominant colour rather than guessing from a Pantone chip.
Logo: digital or heat transfer
- Digital print — direct to the canvas; holds fine detail, gradients and multi-colour artwork. The practical choice for a printed design.
- Heat transfer — the artwork is transferred under heat; sharper edges on solid shapes and a slightly different hand on the fabric.
Both are applied to the flat panel before the bag is sewn, so the logo sits centred and square to the seam.
How pricing works
Canvas is the simplest thing we price: length, fabric weight (10 oz standard), print method and quantity. There is no tooling, which is why the minimum is low and the lead time is short.
The print carries a small setup; fabric and sewing are the recurring cost, so volume lowers the unit price quickly here.
Getting a quote
Minimum is 100 pcs per colour. Bulk lead time is about two weeks — the fastest line we run, because the bag is cut and sewn from stock cloth rather than moulded. A sample takes about a week.
Pricing is quoted directly — email or WhatsApp us with the colour, the print method and the quantity.
